Start with simple tests
- Lettuce in a mason jar: daily water level, pH, root color, and harvest date.
- Basil pruning test: compare one plant pruned early with one plant left alone.
- Clear jar vs covered jar: track algae growth and root health.
- Weak nutrients vs label dose: compare early seedling response in the same light.
- Window light vs LED light: compare stretching, leaf size, and harvest weight.
